For gradients you can also fully customize the start color, end color, direction (8 angle presets plus a fine-grained angle slider from 0–359°), and choose between linear and radial gradient types.

Yes. Switch to the Gradient tab in the background selector to access 12 beautiful preset gradients or build a fully custom one. For linear gradients, choose your direction using the arrow buttons (up, down, left, right, and all diagonals) or drag the angle slider. For radial gradients, the color radiates from the center outward.

You can upload JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, and BMP files up to 50 MB. The output is always a high-quality PNG, which supports both solid and gradient backgrounds as well as full transparency.

Yes — completely. All processing happens locally in your browser using the Canvas API and WebAssembly. Your image is never uploaded to any server, never stored, and never shared. You can use the tool offline after the first visit once the AI model has been cached.

The AI background removal model is approximately 30 MB and is downloaded once on first use. Your browser caches it locally so all future uses are instant. For images with plain white or black backgrounds, the fast canvas path runs instantly without any model download.

A linear gradient transitions colors along a straight line at a given angle — for example, from left to right or from top-left to bottom-right. A radial gradient radiates outward from a center point, creating a circular or elliptical color transition. Radial gradients work well for spotlight or vignette effects.

The tool accepts images up to 50 MB. Very large images may take a few seconds since processing runs entirely in your browser's memory. For best speed, images under 10 MB are recommended.
