Frequently Asked Questions

A fancy text generator converts regular ASCII text into Unicode characters that look like different font styles — bold, italic, gothic, script, bubble, and more. These characters work in any app that supports Unicode.

Fancy Unicode text works on Instagram bios, Twitter/X profiles and posts, TikTok bios, Facebook posts, Discord usernames, WhatsApp messages, YouTube video descriptions, and anywhere Unicode is supported.

No — the fonts themselves don't change. Instead, we use Unicode's mathematical alphanumeric characters, which are separate code points that visually look like styled letters. This is why they copy-paste across platforms.

Some devices or fonts don't support all Unicode ranges. Newer devices (especially iPhones and Android) display them correctly. If you see boxes on your device, try a different style.

Generate your fancy text, click 'Copy', then open Instagram, go to Edit Profile → Bio, and paste the copied text. Save and the stylized text will appear in your bio.
